Through monetary support and in-kind contributions, community, corporate and business sponsors
can help us reach our goal of serving at risk youth. With sponsorships, we can impact more youth and
detour them from drugs & gangs.
Another way business sponsors can contribute is by encouraging their employees to become a
mentor. You and your employees will visibly be investing in the community without sacrificing safety
or personal time with family.
In return for your contributions, financial or in-kind, Detours Mentoring Group Inc works to:
• decrease the drop out rate of youth in our community schools
• decrease the economic drain on society that occurs when youth leave school unprepared or
undereducated
• empower youth to be the best they can be
• produce better skilled employees with better education eliminate slums by expanding our youth's
vision for a better future
• take away the need and cause of violence, and produce youth who reinvest in the community.
